A beautiful pair of Le Tallec porcelain plates, each hand-painted in Paris with colorful exotic birds and pheasants perched among flowering branches in a soft landscape. The scalloped rims are bordered in apple green with lavish raised gold foliate scrolls.

The Atelier Le Tallec in Paris was renowned for its exquisite hand-painted porcelain, made for Tiffany & Co. and other luxury retailers. Each back is inscribed "Dessiné et peint entièrement à la main par Le Tallec à Paris, France" with the Le Tallec date mark and painter's initials.
