Blanc de Chine

I have loved Blanc de Chine pieces for many years.  These white porcelain pieces originated in the Ming Dynasty and are still produced today.  I prefer to group them in large groups for a large impact.  The more, the merrier.

The first of my collection were dragons, which I still have and love today!

I used part of my collection in our master bedroom as part of the One Room Challenge in April and the pieces on lucite shelves above the headboard and the bedside table lamps remain one of my favorite elements in the room.

We have gathered a large collection of blanc de chine for the upcoming HPMKT.  I have located some of the best pieces I have ever seen.  It is hard to part with the best ones, but it is always amazing to see my favorite items go to such great homes!

They are awaiting their debut, only a few more days until market opens!

Are you headed to market this year, let us know if you are.  We would love to see you!

As always, go big or go home!

Brass Love

My love for all things brass got a new life, yet again, during our recent New York City trip.

Everywhere we went I was met with more and more brass inspiration.

Clearly my recent brass findings have spurned my desire to add more brass to our upcoming HPMKT show.  We have a large collection of brass items for sale, both in the CODARUS show room and in the Antique & Design Center.

We would love to see you at High Point!  If you are planning on coming leave us a comment and let us know you will be there!

Color Wheel by Peachy the Magazine

We were thrilled to be included in the October/November 2014 issue of Peachy the Magazine.  If you aren't a reader of this amazing publication, add that to today's to do list!

The magazine asked us to put together a list of navy items we can't live without ~

Here are our Noble Navy must haves including my favorite navy Gucci loafers and our vintage navy Mercedes.  Navy is one of my many favorite colors and its classic color is always in style!

We are joined in this month's color wheel by two very talented designers.  You must check them out for their amazing picks as well!

Congrats to both Kandrac Kole Interiors for their Perfect Plum choices and to Catherine M. Austin for her Enchanted Emerald selections!

Thank you Peachy the Magazine for the opportunity!  We love your publication!!

As always, go big or go home!
